Rotterdam Centraal → Bruxelles Midi

I wanted to avoid Eurostar (more on it in the booking log). Therefore, I am splitting the trip between Rotterdam and Paris in two legs.

I am on SNCB’s EuroCity 9228.

It is crazy how people are encouraged to use Eurostar and spend a crazy amount of money for its awful service, just because other options do not appear unless you intentionally look for them. No sign of ECC 9228 on the NS app nor in the DB app. I was about to panic, but I saw it on the station’s board.

(I could have also taken NS’ ECD actually)

🚆 Tenco-Tecno Interrail 🔊

I have just started the Interrail that will bring me from Rotterdam to Paris, Sanremo for Premio Tenco, Napoli for Hallucinate – Unbox – Restart, and finally back to Rotterdam.

I couldn’t find a funny name for this Interrail until now: “Tenco” is obvious, “Tecno” is because the Napoli Winter School is about tech. It’s silly but this is why I like it ihihih eheheh
