People protesting down the street and black smoke at the end of it.

I put the AntiFascist Fediverse sticker on top of a Google Gemini Ad, plus me signing fuck you to the sign.

Selfie with Antifascist Fediverse sticker on my cap. On the background, the protest.

Paris Gare de Lyon → Nice Ville

Going back to my home city of Sanremo together with my mum, but stopping in Nice, where my dad is picking us up. Currently on OUIGO 7853.

Oh yeah, immediately as I arrived in Paris I had a chocolat chaude and got a wisdom drop from the one and only Julien Masanes, understanding more about his work and the @internetarchiveeurope’s strategy 👀

Bruxelles Midi → Paris Nord

Now on OTC 54. The previous one was 30' late. Luckily this one has just departed with no issues.

Rotterdam Centraal → Bruxelles Midi

I wanted to avoid Eurostar (more on it in the booking log). Therefore, I am splitting the trip between Rotterdam and Paris in two legs.

I am on SNCB’s EuroCity 9228.

It is crazy how people are encouraged to use Eurostar and spend a crazy amount of money for its awful service, just because other options do not appear unless you intentionally look for them. No sign of ECC 9228 on the NS app nor in the DB app. I was about to panic, but I saw it on the station’s board.

(I could have also taken NS’ ECD actually)

Tenco-Tecno Interrail

Notes on the preparation of a trip from Rotterdam to Paris, then to Sanremo, then Napoli, and finally back to Rotterdam.

⁂

🚆 Tenco-Tecno Interrail 🔊

I have just started the Interrail that will bring me from Rotterdam to Paris, Sanremo for Premio Tenco, Napoli for Hallucinate – Unbox – Restart, and finally back to Rotterdam.

I couldn’t find a funny name for this Interrail until now: “Tenco” is obvious, “Tecno” is because the Napoli Winter School is about tech. It’s silly but this is why I like it ihihih eheheh

This thread will share things as they happen. The full trip log is here.
