“Oil hits three-month low, markets soar as U.S. and Iran announce peace deal.”

And the people who were murdered? Just the cost of doing business. Consequences for the murderers: zero.

But hey, you get cheap gas again and Wall Street’s happy so what do we care, right?

I’d say we’re lemmings but we’re not. Lemmings aren’t evil.

@aral

So, what's changed compared to before this stupid war?

A lot of Infrastructure in Iran destroyed. The US paying $300,000,000,000 in reparations. Soldiers, civilians and hundreds of children dead.

Thank you, #Trump, for nothing - this is far worse than Obama's deal.

Let's face it: The US have lost Trump's war, and they're paying for it.

https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2026/jun/12/palestine-action-activists-sentenced-terrorists-damage-elbit-systems-uk-israel. This is completely & absolutely unacceptable, but par-for-the-course in the #UK now, as our supine #courts & our equally supine #Labour #Government do the bidding of #Israel, & never mind its #genocide in #Gaza & wholesale #slaughter of the #Palestinians, or in #Lebanon & #Iran. These #prison #sentences, at a time of absurd prison #overcrowding, are all wholly disproportionate, & should NOT have been linked to #terrorism. These #defendants are NOT #terrorists.
